Chacrinha UM

This is the first piece of art dedicated to Chacrinha. Others will come in a sequence based on this same composition. Abelardo Barbosa was a famous TV host that had a show during the 60′s through 80′s. He was exotic and knew how to communicate like no one else on TV. His wardrobe as much as his programme was wacky, and absurdly funny. It was a fantastic mockery, true to baroque, canibalism, Semana de 22, Tropicalism and all round Brazilian culture. To make it simple it was pornografically colorful and histerically overdone. Just like the way I like to do my art. This is my first art piece that will only have one single print. It will be printed on German rag paper, 118 x 84 cm.

Este é provavelmente a última arte. Baseado na foto oficial original da então princesa Elizabeth um dia antes de ser coroada. Retirei todos os penduricalhos, jóias, roupa, etc.. Evitei o óbvio: nua com os seios de á mostra. Pode ser que faça uma versão com camiseta. / This is probably the last piece of art. Based on the last official photo of Elizabeth as a princess, one day before the crowning. I removed all the jewelery, dress, and other accessories. I avoided the obvious image with the bare breasts showing. Probably make a version with a T shirt.
